Taking place August 27th-September 1st
There’s a great chance for indigenous youth ages 14 and above to take part in a free five day camp in Nova Scotia. The ad says, “calling all ocean-loving, marine-minded, adventure-seeking Indigenous youth to come and experience a 5-day Ocean-based Learning program.” Spokesperson Vinnie Corelli says they’ll spend a couple of days on the water. He says students will also learn tradition. Corelli says they have 10 spots left and the camp itself is on the eastern shore with a drop off spot in downtown Halifax. It will run August 27th to September 1st.
