Gord Hamlyn was a firefighter with The City of Corner Brook.

Gord Hamlyn was a firefighter with the City of Corner Brook who played a major role in the Corner Brook Firefighter's Annual Toy Drive. Sadly, he passed away in January but his legacy will live on. Michelle Payne of Fox's General Store in Curling is hosting a "Gord Hamlyn Day" this Sunday and all ice cream sales will be donated to the toy drive. She says this will become an annual event.

The Corner Brook Firefighters also plan to have a BBQ at the store this Sunday at lunch time.
