Minister Parsons says people with project ideas should be getting ready to submit them.

Government will be issuing a call for proposals within the next couple of days for anyone with a green economic idea. Industry Minister Andrew Parsons announced details of a new Green Transition Fund yesterday as a kickstart to position NL as the best place in the world for green economic investment. He says it’s part of last year’s start up of the West White Rose Project when partners committed to invest $100 million into the fund. Minister Parsons says people with project ideas should be getting ready to submit them. He says it’s open to a variety of projects. The Minister says time is of the essence and they really want to get the money out the door.
