Government launches a new website and campaign to help increase awareness of dementia

    The website complements actions under the Dementia Care Action Plan by promoting awareness and understanding of dementia and providing information on services and resources to support individuals and families to live well with dementia.

    Government has announced the launch of a new Dementia-Friendly Communities website This includes a media campaign to help increase awareness, foster more dementia-inclusive communities, and promote overall health and well-being. The website complements actions under the Dementia Care Action Plan by promoting awareness and understanding of dementia and providing information on services and resources to support individuals and families to live well with dementia. The awareness campaign is jointly supported by the Public Health Agency of Canada through the Dementia Strategic Fund as well as provincial funding under the Dementia Care Action Plan.
