    If you receive benefit payments via cheque from the Provincial Government, please contact the applicable government department or agency to find out how you can continue to receive these payments without disruption.

    Government is closely monitoring the current labour situation at Canada Post and its impact on residents. If you receive benefit payments via cheque from the Provincial Government, please contact the applicable government department or agency to find out how you can continue to receive these payments without disruption. Individuals in receipt of Income Support payments via cheque can call 1-877-729-7888 for assistance. For teachers’ pension enquiries, please phone 709-729-7054 or email pensionerpayroll@gov.nl.ca. Employment services enquiries, please phone 1-800-563-6600 or email EmploymentPrograms@gov.nl.ca. Post-secondary students accessing the Student Aid Program should expect minimal impact due to the Canada Post labour dispute.  Students can continue to send documents to studentaidmailbox@gov.nl.ca.
