Young people take to the stage next weekend. Tickets on sale now.
The Graham Academy in Corner Brook is busy working on new shows after a stellar production of the Sound of Music in March. This youth arts education program offers many opportunities for young people from Junior Kindergarden to grade 12. On June 2 & 3, Senior Company (Gr 9-12) and Junior Ensemble (Gr 7-8) will be taking to the Arts and Culture Centre stage to present Godspell (Poster attached). Godspell takes the biblical teachings of Jesus and brings them to a space unmarked by time, with a focus on the lessons learned and how we can share them today. Students will be accompanied by a live band featuring a number of talented musicians from our community: Alison Clarke, Darlene Steeves, Keith Simmons, Ford Burden, Nick Hamlyn, and Brian McHugh.
