Government is continuing to advance its Climate Action Plan.
The most recent greenhouse gas emissions for 2021 are 8.3 megatonnes. This is a 13 percent decrease from the year before and the second lowest level of emissions since 1992. Government is hoping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a further 615,000 tonnes by the year 2030.

Government announces $1.2M for Sport NL
Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation Minister Andrea Barbour made the announcement at the Corner Brook Tennis club yesterday and says funding will support a range of initiatives that strengthens our sports system with the impact being felt by 53 sports organizations as well as more than 60,000 people.
