Big Talk Sam will perform Friday night followed by D,J.Hype.
There’s gonna be a time on the south shore of the Bay of Islands this weekend. The annual Bayfest takes to the stage Friday and Saturday in Humber Arm South. Sponsored by the South Shore Fire Department, the event features two days of great food, entertainment and musicians. Volunteer firefighter Brad Gallant says this event has been on the go for awhile now. “I don’t know the exact number of years, “ he says. “The town’s come home year was in 2013 and there were a few bayfests before that, so maybe 2010.” Gallant says they like to have local entertainers and that seems to be what the people want also. Big Talk Sam will perform Friday night followed by D,J.Hype. Saturday will feature the Mitchell Hunt Bad and the Dave O’Connell band with D,J.Hype closing out the night.
