Osborne says over 400 nurses have been recruited to the province since last year and vacancies are going down slightly from 760 to 700.
Health Minister Tom Osborne provided an update on nursing vacancies in the province this week. He says he was not aware the Newfoundland Labrador Nurses Union had been asking for these numbers since October. When he did find out, he made sure the Nurses union had the information. Osborne says over 400 nurses have been recruited to the province since last year and vacancies are going down slightly from 760 to 700.
