    High school Rise Awards recipients to be announced today

    Recipients of the RISE awards are Level II high school students who demonstrate academic excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

    Industry Minister Andrew Parsons, will announce recipients of the 2024 Research Inspired Student Enrichment (RISE) Awards today. Recipients of the RISE awards are Level II high school students who demonstrate academic excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. RISE award recipients can attend research-related enrichment programs in Canada and the United States. The students' names will be announced in St. John’s at noon.
