Human remains found near Marches Point; RCMP is investigating

    The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is engaged and will examine both identification and cause of death.

    Human remains have been found in a remote wooded area near Marches Point. RCMP say the discovery was made on August 13th but an identification has not been made. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is engaged and will examine both identification and cause of death. Until that time, no further information can be provided. The RCMP will provide an update following the conclusion of the work of the OCME.
