International Youth Day to be celebrated this weekend in Corner Brook

    Lats weekend's event was rained out so this weekend. an outdoor youth market will take place at city hall.

    International Youth day is celebrated August 12th but last weekend’s event in Corner Brook was rained out so the celebration will take place this weekend. Shawna Decker is with the Community Youth Network. She says there will be an outdoor market this Saturday at city hall square. Decker says it’s important to recognize the contributions of youth. The first International Youth Day was celebrated in 2000.
