A 57 year old Irishtown woman is facing charges after throwing a glass of booze in a police officer’s face. RNC say it happened shortly after 11 o’clock last night at a traffic stop in Irishtown. Police say she was pulled over for speeding and they could tell that she was impaired. While speaking with her, she threw a glass of liquor at one of the officers. She spent the night in jail until sober and has been charged with assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest, and refusal of a breath sample.
