    It's cap and gown day for over 150 students at Grenfell Campus

    More than 150 graduates will cross the stage at the Arts and Culture Centre today as Grenfell convocations get underway. 

    Dr. Ian Sutherland is the vice president of Grenfell Campus. “It’s a culmination of years of hard work, and the sense of excitement and pride is palpable,” he says. Dr. Sutherland says they will be awarding 4 honorary degrees; Come From Away writers Irene Sankoff and David Hein; Indigenous leader Odelle Pike, and dancer and promoter of joy and wellness Gurdeep Pandher. Ceremonies take place this morning and afternoon, and will conclude this evening.
