The town of Steady Brook is accepting applications for student jobs, except you don’t have to be a student to apply.
Employment is paid under the Canada Summer Jobs funding program. New regulations state that to be eligible you must be between the ages of 15 and 30, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a refugee under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. You must have a valid social insurance number and be entitled to work in Canada. The positions are 30 hours per week for 6 weeks. Work will start the first week of July. The deadline to apply is May 19.
