Kippens' pride Katarina Roxon qualifies for fifth Paralympics and now holds record for most appearances

    Roxon made it all the way to the  top of the podium in 2016 when she won gold in Rio. She will compete in her 5th paralympics in Paris. 

    Katarina Roxon has qualified for her 5th paralympics and has made a record for the most Paralympic games appearances by a female athlete. The Kippens paralympian was only 14 when was nominated for the women’s swimming team and competed in her first paralympics at 15. She joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit to talk about Sunday’s results. Roxon recently left to spend a month in Quebec to train with her best friend but three months later, and she’s still there. Roxon made it all the way to the  top of the podium in 2016 when she won gold in Rio. She will compete in her 5th paralympics in Paris.
