If there’s a bee in your bonnet, it could just be about bees!
Donna House is with the NL Beekeeping Association. She says a lot of beekeepers in this province are backyard hobbyists, but there are 15 at the commercial scale level and some of these are on the west coast. House says developing the beekeeping industry here is an ongoing process. She says those pesky yellow flowers on everyone’s lawn are vital to bees. House will be meeting with beekeepers 5 o’clock this evening at the Corner Brook Public Library.
