    Love hanging by the pool? Corner Brook is looking for lifeguards

    Candidates who make it through the first round of qualifying interviews will be offered the opportunity for free certification training over the summer. 

    It’s a sure sign the new Corner Brook Regional Recreation Centre is getting ready to open. The city of Corner Brook is looking for applications from potential lifeguards at the new $25 million dollar facility, which has gone at least one million dollars over budget. The building houses a training pool, children’s pool, childcare centre, fitness centre, gymnasium and all purpose room.  Candidates who make it through the first round of qualifying interviews will be offered the opportunity for free certification training over the summer.
