The man also allegedly threatened another tenant of the residence.
RNC officers responded to a report of disturbance at a home boarding house in the Concord Avenue area of Corner Brook on Saturday evening.
On arrival, it was reported to police that a 59 year-old resident of the home had assaulted and threatened another tenant of the residence. The male was arrested charged with Uttering threats to cause bodily harm and Assault.
The accused was held to be released by a judge at Corner Brook Provincial Court today.
