Mayor says 3 watermain leaks in Curling reduced demand by 1 million litres a day

    Mayor Jim Parsons says staff have located and repaired three watermain leaks in the Curling area which reduced system demand by 1 million litres a day which means we are using about 20 million litres of water per day.

    Corner Brook’s water and sewer department reports statistics during each public council meeting. At this week’s session, it was highlighted that repairs have been completed at two sanitary sewers lift stations. Mayor Jim Parsons says staff have located and repaired three watermain leaks in the Curling area which reduced system demand by 1 million litres a day which means we are using about 20 million litres of water per day. Piping repairs at both Sunnyslope and Lundrigan Drive have been completed.
