The House of Assembly broadcasted the meeting live this morning.
Employee code of conduct, budget reports, constituency allocations, acceptable greeting cards, and members severance topped the agenda of a meeting of the Management Commission this morning. The House of Assembly broadcasted the event and the topic of Christmas card reimbursement gathered a lot of discussion. It was on the agenda since some House of Assembly members were confused when they weren’t reimbursed. Some formats are approved while others are not. CBS MHA Barry Petten says it’s nonsense. The Management Commission talked about amending the policy but MHA Petten says there’s not much to review. The Management Commission agreed to look at the policy and if there are any roadblocks, it will be discussed further. They also discussed member severance and agreed policy changes are needed.
