Children, Seniors and Social Development Minister John Abbott is asking people to consider a career in childcare.
Minister Abbott says with 10 dollar a day childcare, there is a need for more early childhood educators. He says child and youth workers are doing most of their work in the community. Abbott says this is in both the profit and non-profit child and youth serving agencies, which is another growing need in the province. He says there is still a need for more foster care homes as well.
