Power was out briefly across areas of the province Friday.
N.L. Hydro says they are aware of an outage affecting some Island customers. They say there is plenty of supply available and power restoration is underway. This occurence is due to an Under Frequency Load Shedding event and is under investigation.

Officers located Neal Peddle inside the residence. He’s facing charges that include assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and being unlawfully in a dwelling.
