Grenfell Campus is getting a federal and provincial boost of $1.156 million for its Navigate Incubator and Makerspace to deliver more opportunities and resources for entrepreneurs in Western Newfoundland. This partnership between Grenfell and College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) Corner Brook campus is located in the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI). It will be outfitted with specialized equipment for training areas, carpentry and welding shops, and the clean makerspace. Grenfell Vice-President Dr. Ian Sutherland says the centre has come a long way since opening 7 months ago and will continue to do amazing things.
