Whoever finds one of two Bayfm ducks will get a chance to be a radio star and a gift basket.

All right Corner Brook, it’s time to get quacking. Just ahead of the opening of the 52nd annual Corner Brook Winter Carnival this weekend, there’s a new contest this year to get everyone in the mood. It’s called “Find Leif the Ducky’ and there are chances for prizes and discounts. A number of businesses are onboard and will be hiding little laminated pictures of plastic ducks for people to find. It all started when 9 year old Jordan  Zolis gave Leif the Lucky a little yellow duck years ago and asked him to take care of it.  She’s shocked about this new contest, and loves winter carnival and having fun. Meanwhile, carnival mascot Leif the Lucky wanted to make sure Jordan knew he is taking care of the little duck, which is kept in a special place with his collectibles. Whoever finds one of two Bayfm ducks will get a chance to be a radio star and a gift basket. Winners will record a message to be aired on Bayfm during the ten days of Carnival fun.
