Nearly 2.6 million dollars is now available under the Active NL Fund.
Nonprofit, community groups, schools, municipalities, indigenous governments and local service districts can apply. Funding is available to support healthy living initiatives, infrastructure or equipment that will help increase physical activity, sport, active recreation and healthy eating for people of all ages and abilities. The deadline to apply is October 31st and more details can be found on the government website.
