Throughout the month of March, AITC-NL is partnering with the Newfoundland and Labrador Beekeeping Association (NLBKA) to host the “Bee Creative Literacy Contest” for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students.
There’s a new resource for students in Grades 2 to 4 called “Follow The Food,” as part of this year’s Canadian Agriculture Month. It’s a hands-on resource to help students gain a better appreciation for the value of food. Throughout the month of March, AITC-NL is partnering with the Newfoundland and Labrador Beekeeping Association (NLBKA) to host the “Bee Creative Literacy Contest” for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students. The winning classes get to decorate a beehive, which will be returned to the participating beekeeper’s farm to be taken care of in the name of the school/class. Email chelsea@nlfa.ca.
