NL has a newly formed Indigenous Women’s Reconciliation Council

    The council held their first meeting on June 28th.

    A newly formed Provincial Indigenous Women’s Reconciliation Council is working to overcome challenges in the areas  of culture, health and wellness, justice and security that impact indigenous women and girls. Women and Gender Equality Minister Pam Parsons says this province is leading the way when it comes to reconciliation and the council has many topics to cover. The council held their first meeting on June 28th.
