The head of the Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation says it’s been a really good year in all areas. NLC ended the fourth quarter with $5.4 million in earnings, over the same period last year. President and CEO Bruce Keating says full year earnings came in at a little over $201 million, and the dividend paid to government was $208 million. He says this wrapped up their three-year plan. Keating says the next three years will be a more normal environment, minus covid regulations. He expects to see big numbers in cannabis sales. Keating says they’ve captured upwards of 65 percent of the illicit cannabis market while offering better products since legalization in 2018.
