No details on deals but Fisheries Minister says new markets were found at the Boston Seafood Show

    Gerry Byrne says they knew they had a job to do while in the U.S. to influence influencers to nullify tariffs, affirm the relationship with American customers, and to diversify with new markets.

    Fisheries Minister Gerry Byrne says NL companies were successful with diversifying their markets at the Boston Seafood Show, which recently wrapped up. Byrne wouldn’t disclose details of deals that were made but says they knew they had a job to do while in the U.S. That was to influence influencers to nullify tariffs, affirm the relationship with American customers, and to diversify with new markets. Byrne says new markets were discovered because of the annual show which included representatives from 167 countries
