No more fee for doctors to access electronic medical files

    $1 million has been set aside to cover the cost of the Electronic Medical Record program.

    Government has cancelled an operational fee for physicians and other health care professionals to access the Electronic Medical Record program. Budget 2023 included a $1 million increase from 2022-23, to fully cover the operating cost of the system, which has been in use since 2016.
