Ocean opportunities and climate change discussed at conference

    Minister Andrew Parsons speaks at the 57th annual Congress of The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society today in St.John’s.

    Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says there is a connection between science and society with ocean and blue economy opportunities. He spoke at the 57th annual Congress of The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society today in St. John’s. Minister Parsons says there are so many opportunities. He says we are at a crossroads of so many opportunities but, at the same time, this needs to be balanced with climate change. Minister Parsons will speak at a sold out, annual Energy NL Conference and exhibition in St. John’s tomorrow.
