Police have been out as part of Road Safety Week and the busy May 24 weekend.
Police stopped 40 vehicles in Corner Brook during a checkpoint on O’Connell Drive Saturday. RNC say one vehicle was seized for lack of insurance. Police say the driver was issued two tickets for operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance and failure to transfer ownership of the vehicle.
