Pasadena residents have cleaner drinking water and town officials brought the media on a tour of the water treatment plant on Friday. Upgrades to the plant and treatment methods are producing some of the cleanest drinking water in Canada. Mayor Darren Gardner says the three cups of water on display show how the water becomes clearer as it works through the filtration system. Gardner says as a result, they’re using less chlorine. The plant is located in the back of the town, about a 15 minute drive.
