In addition to this week’s increase, the Parliamentary Budget Officer has found that these regulations will mean another 17 cents per litre added to gasoline costs and 16 cents for diesel by 2030. Wakeham says “In a recent report by the Seniors Advocate, it was revealed that 32 percent of seniors are unable to meet their basic needs, 60 percent are going without food, and 57 percent cannot afford essential medications.
