Corner Brook police were called out to several disturbances in the city last yesterday and early this morning. RNC were called to a home on Pratt Street just after 2 o’clock this morning after a woman left the home in fear of a man. When police arrived they found him hiding in the basement. RNC charged the man for being there, which was a breach of his probation. Yesterday afternoon about 4:30 police were called to a hotel in Corner Brook. Police say an intoxicated man was trying to start fights with other patrons. That’s when police realized the man was breaching conditions of his release and he was held overnight in the lock up. Just before 5 o'clock yesterday,  RNC were called to a home on Parkwood Drive. Police say a woman received minor injuries and a man was arrested. He’s been charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
