Police Service Dog Marlow helps recover stolen property in Clarenville

    RCMP Police Service Dog Marlow enjoyed a little play time this past weekend

    A vehicle was located hidden in the bushes a short distance away and was seized as part of the investigation. They also found stolen property, as well as the tools that were used to commit the crime

    Last week, Clarenville RCMP were called out to a break and enter in progress and PSD  Marlow was quick on the scene. It was at the  Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro Communications site located off the Trans-Canada Highway near Sunnyside. Wednesday at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, RCMP and Police Service Dog Marlow and her handler searched the area.  A vehicle was located hidden in the bushes a short distance away and was seized as part of the investigation. They also found stolen property, as well as the tools that were used to commit the crime. One man was arrested and is due to appear in court at a later date to answer to multiple charges. The other man, 42-year-old David Traverse of Heart’s Delight appeared in court last week to face charges.
