Cst James Cadigan says it takes time to find out why someone dies and that’s why they’re issued a warning on the dangers of taking illegal drugs

While the RNC awaits toxicology results from two sudden deaths in two weeks in Corner Brook, they have issued a warning about the life-threatening consequences of using non-regulated, non-prescription drugs. Three other people were treated for drug use. Cst James Cadigan says it takes time to find out why someone dies and that’s why they’re issued a warning. All RNC vehicles are equipped with Naloxone kits, which can help someone in an overdose situation. More information will be made available by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as it becomes available.
