URVEY -  FISHING GEAR DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

Every year harvesters have to dispose of gear that through wear and tear of regular use is no longer of any use to them. We are trying to better understand how much gear needs to be discarded annually, how it is currently disposed of, and how the fishing sector can be better supported to have such gear properly disposed of or recycled.

We are asking harvesters from across Newfoundland and Labrador to please take a few moments to complete this survey.  The survey is completely anonymous. You will not be asked for your name or any other information that could identify you.

We thank you for your participation, and would appreciate you sharing the survey with other members of the fishing community in Newfoundland and Labrador.
