While in Washington, the Premier will take part in a discussion with the Canadian-American Business Council following the Canada-U.S. engagement strategy launched earlier this year. This province exports $4.6 billion in energy, seafood, and critical minerals to the United States each year. Then, the Premier and Fisheries, forestry and Agriculture Minister will be in Boston for the Seafood Expo North America 2024 from March 10th to the 12th. Furey is scheduled to speak at the Newfoundland and Labrador Seafood Industry Reception on Saturday, March 9th in Boston.
