Picket lines are down as the Public Service Alliance of Canada has reached a deal with the federal government.
It was one of the largest strikes in Canadian history. The new deal covers 120,000 Treasury Board workers who deliver critical services to Canadians. Included in the deal is a 12.6 percent wage increase, protection for those who work remotely, and a pensionable, one time payment of $2500. Meanwhile, PSAC members who work for Canada Revenue are still on strike waiting for a fair contract.
