Public Utilities Board hires an advisor to handle an adequacy review

    Bates White have recently provided consulting services for electricity regulators in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Alberta.

    The Public Utilities Board has hired engineering consulting firm Bates White Economic Consulting as technical advisor in the Board’s Reliability and Resource Adequacy review. Bates White have recently provided consulting services for electricity regulators in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Alberta. The Board’s process for the selection of a new engineering consulting firm has been ongoing since Liberty Consulting advised in September that it planned to discontinue its engagement with the Board.
