    RCMP make 5 arrests for impaired driving this past weekend

    Meanwhile, no impaired driving arrests were reported on the west coast this past weekend.

    RCMP arrested three people on the east coast and two in Labrador this past weekend for impaired driving. In one case, a  20-year-old was found by Whitbourne RCMP next to a damaged vehicle that had just struck a guardrail. As well, a 60-year old man was arrested by Bay Roberts RCMP after sideswiping another vehicle. In another incident, a 21-year-old man was arrested after going the wrong way on the divided highway near St. John’s. Two men in their fifties were arrested in Nain and HaMeanwhile, no impaired driving arrests were reported on the west coast this past weekend.ppy valley-Goose Bay.
