RNC check Corner Brook and south shore drivers, and issue four tickets on Monday

    Officers were mostly met with compliance and safe behaviours, however, two tickets were issued for speeding and two related to vehicle registration infractions.

    The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) continues to promote traffic safety this summer through roadside checks and the use of radar. Over a span of several hours on Monday, RNC Operational Patrol Services conducted multiple traffic safety checkpoints and speed enforcement initiatives in Corner Brook, Irishtown, Frenchman’s Cove and Lark Harbour. Officers were mostly met with compliance and safe behaviours, however, two tickets were issued for speeding and two related to vehicle registration infractions.
