In on case, a 25 year old Corner Brook woman failed a roadside screening device, and failed again at headquarters. She has been charged with impaired driving.
Shortly after 1:20 a.m. yesterday, RNC responded to Valley Road after a man called saying he had been struck in the head and needed an ambulance. On arrival officers identified the injured male, who was under court orders not to drink and a curfew. The 19 year old Corner Brook man was treated at Western Memorial Hospital and arrested once released. He’s now facing more charges for breaching court orders.
Then, at 2:18am RNC conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Broadway Crescent area of Corner Brook. The driver, a 25 year old Corner Brook woman failed a roadside screening device, and failed again at headquarters. She has been charged with impaired driving.
At 2:40am, RNC conducted another traffic stop in the Broadway Crescent. Police identified a male passenger and placed the 41-year-old Corner Brook man under arrest, at which time he resisted injuring the arresting officer’s hand. He was charged with Public Mischief in relation to an unrelated investigation and 2 counts of Breaching of Release Order.
