Members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s (RNC) Recruiting Unit will be in Pasadena next week. They will be there to conduct the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE). Cst James Cadigan says it’s an opportunity to get a first look at the physical demands of police work. Cadigan says anyone in Western Newfoundland who would like to participate in the Pre-PARE on June 3rd should email them to reserve a one hour time slot at rncrecruiting@rnc.gov.nl.ca..
Recruiters will be onsite reviewing applications in-person and will be available to answer questions. Successful candidates will attend the Atlantic Police Academy for 36 weeks beginning in January 2025.
