There were several tense moments for RCMP in different areas of the province yesterday and into last night. Around 3:30 yesterday afternoon police responded to an unfolding incident in the area of Shoal Cove Heights in Swift Current. Earlier in the day just before 1:30 an alert was issued about an incident in Spaniard’s Bay and the Conception Bay Highway was closed. A man was arrested about an hour later.  Shortly before 9:30 last night, Bay St. George RCMP received a report of a disturbance in Stephenville involving an individual with a firearm who was making threats to harm others.
