Local musician Sherman Downey says to be a good singer you have to be a good storyteller first. Downey joined Bayfm’s Dean Clarke on Scoffs and Scuffs this past Sunday. He says there’s much more to performing than just great music. Downey says some people like hearing the stories behind the songs. He says whatever energy is created by the crowd builds throughout the performance. Downey says there are some fantastic musicians living along the west coast.
