Bay St. George RCMP is investigating the theft of a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle that was stolen while parked on a residential property in Stephenville during the early morning hours of February 12.
Police suspect that the theft occurred sometime around 2:30 a.m. The ATV, a 2021 blue Can-Am Defender with tracks attached, was stolen while parked in the driveway of a home on Maryland Drive in Stephenville. It is believed that the suspect drove the ATV away from the property.
Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to check available surveillance footage from midnight to 8:00 a.m. on February 12 for any possible sightings or suspicious activities.
The investigation is continuing.
