Government is looking to start a pilot project this summer by installing speed cameras in various communities.

Minister Sarah Stoodley says speed cameras have been a priority for her for a while now. She says more details will be released later this month.

Minister Stoodley says school bus cameras are legal now but not yet in place. She says to equip school buses with speed cameras, more than one camera is needed. The Minister says it’s complicated to get proper angles of vehicles passing buses but they are working on it.
